EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account Briefing

Who should attend?
EPSRC-funded (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research) researchers are invited to attend this event. Funding is available to accelerate the impact from existing EPSRC-funded projects.

Industry partners are also welcome to attend.

Fund aims:

Through the Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) we seek to:

• Help EPSRC projects to achieve impact of the highest quality;
• Strengthen existing partnerships;
• Fund the development of new partnerships;
• Increase leverage for investment from partner organisations;
• Support the development of longer-term collaborations.

What is the event about?

Up to £35,000 is available to accelerate the impact from EPSRC-funded research.

IAAs fund knowledge exchange projects between researchers and non-academic partners, with the aim of generating high levels of impact from existing research.

Through the IAA we plan to fund a range of projects, including activities such as:

• Secondments and placements with non-academic partners;
• Strategic engagement with non-academic partners;
• Engagements with policymakers;
• Public Engagement activities;
• Market assessments and evaluations;
• Spin-out activities.
